Grey Council Charter

Grey Council is a group of like minded individuals that enjoy playing together in a friendly atmosphere. The guild enjoys the company of all the races and classes in our realm and will join the fight against any that oppose their allies.  We're not a "hard core" role-play group but we enjoy the role players. We are interested in organized game play with mature friendly folk.

Guild Policies

• Act mature, don't do things that would irritate your fellow guild members and/or realm mates.
• Keep language clean in guild chat. Everyone has moments of anger but repeated violations are not acceptable. There are sometimes younger players in /gu.
• Voice chat tends to be more "mature". There is a kid friendly channel and we suggest using that if you would like to not be exposed to mature topics.
• We game to have fun, not to deal with drama. Don't cause "drama" or if you do don't expect to stay in the guild long.
• Be helpful and by all means defend your realm!

Class Officers

• Officer - Ranged DPS
• Officer - Melee DPS
• Officer - Healer/Support
• Officer - Tank

These folks will be responsible for helping their fellow guild members of similar class. They will also be responsible for filtering out the chafe when new members wish to join for their specific class. They are also responsible for monitoring the new guild member and making sure they follow the guild's policies for continued membership

Membership

• There will be multiple ranks of "members" depending on duration of membership and special achievements
• Only full members can have alts within the guild.

Initiates

• New guild members that will be given a trial period within the guild before they are allowed "membership". During this period any officer can boot said player from guild for any violation of the guild policies.

How to join?

We do not typically seek to invite people into our guild but if we meet and play with an outstanding individual someone might sponser them to join.

• Must have sponser before applying
  
• Fill out the "application".
• Be accepted by the class officer and approved by other leaders.
• Once a member you will be inducted as a initiate for roughly a 2-4 week trial at the end of which you will either be accepted of denied full membership.

New Member Requirements

• Install whatever UI mods/addons that the guild requires.
• Use ventrilo as your voice chat software.
• Follow ALL Guild Policies. During the trial period all your actions will be scrutinized. Any behavior that violates the guilds policies will keep you from becoming a full member.
